APPLICATIONS OF METHYL OCTINE CARBONATE

Methyl octine carbonate (MOC) is used in the flavour and fragrance industry. It has a violet, green and mimosa odour. It is used to impart a sweet melon-type flavour. Methyl octine carbonate (MOC) is also utilized as an intermediate for organic synthesis.
